Woodturning Instruction

As a Chemist, I spent numerous hours teaching students in different areas of chemistry as well as in other sciences and laboratory techniques   In addition, over the past 30-plus years, I have made all of the mistakes possible in the field of woodturning and, frankly, have achieved some measure of success   I am therefore well qualified by this experience to teach almost anything in the field of woodturning   We can provide skilled instruction in the craft of woodturning to interested adults and to children (with parental permission)   Rates are reasonable and hours can be arranged to suit almost any schedule   Among the many techniques you may learn include tool selection and sharpening, stock selection and preparation, spindle and/or faceplate turning, finishing and many other areas of turning knowledge   You may study by the half-hour, hour or day   Normal rates are $50 per hour
